At Rooftop Studios’ Stage Academy, our Saturday sessions focus on building skills in acting, singing and dance – the vital foundations that make all the difference when it comes to landing roles, delivering standout performances and ultimately, progressing toward a professional caree

Led by teachers with real-life professional stage experience, our classes go beyond “rehearsal room” work. Students explore vocal technique, character development, choreography, ensemble work and audition prep – all within a supportive and challenging environment.

Over the past decade, we’ve seen dozens of Stage Academy students go on to train at leading performing arts colleges like Laine Theatre Arts, Mountview, Urdang and The Hammond. What do they all have in common? They showed up consistently and put in the work.

Of course, we love our shows – they’re a wonderful way to bring everything together and celebrate student growth. But Stage Academy isn’t just about preparing for a production. It’s about preparing young performers for whatever comes next – on stage and off.
