Rooftop Street Teams Shine at Liverpool Dance Competition

Our street dance teams had an incredible day of success at the Calling You Out Dance Competition in Liverpool on Sunday 8 March, bringing home an impressive collection of trophies and medals.

Two teams from each of our Stone and Leek studios competed across a range of categories including team performances, solos and duos. Our street teams – RT Rascals, RT Rebels, RTG and RTK – delivered outstanding performances on stage, with every team securing first place in their category.

There were also fantastic individual results, with a number of dancers placing in their solo and duo categories. Special congratulations go to Holly Joy from the Stone studio, who was crowned Under 10 Champion, and Georgia Campbell from the Leek studio, who won the Under 6 category.

Further standout performances came from Freya, who secured 1st place in the Under 16 Set Solo, and Lillian, who achieved 1st place in the Under 16 Freestyle Solo.

While the medals and trophies were a brilliant achievement, the day was about far more than the results. The competition provided an opportunity for dancers to grow in confidence, support one another and create lasting memories together.

The Rooftop team was especially proud to see dancers encouraging one another throughout the day – celebrating successes, overcoming nerves and showing the strong sense of teamwork and friendship that runs through the studio.

A special thank you goes to Miss Antonia, who worked tirelessly preparing the teams for competition, and to Rooftop’s supportive dance families who helped make the day possible.
