More student success…
Our brilliant students have done it again – and we want to shout it from the ROOFTOPS!
First of all, we are super proud of all of our students who took their RAD ballet, ISTD ballet, modern, tap and Jazz and LAMDA Drama exams at end of last term. Not only did we once again have a 100% pass rate – but all students achieved high results.
A big thank you to our teaching team for their dedication and skill in helping our kids reach their full potential.

A huge well done to 11-year-old Maria Kelly, who has been a student at Rooftop Studios from the age of two and attends all of our dance classes.
Not only has Maria has gained a 2025 summer school scholarship with Chester’s prestigious Hammond School of Dance after impressing them at this year’s summer school, she also came 2nd in their talent show, winning herself a 1-1 lesson with one of their teachers.
Maria’s talents have also seen her gain a place on the Ballet Boost programme in Manchester – a vocational Sunday ballet programme for gifted dancers aged 8+. It aims to help those aspiring to progress to full-time training or a professional dance career unlock their full potential.
We are so proud of you Maria, and it’s hugely exciting to be a part of your journey!
Heidi reaches new heights…13-year-old Heidi Naylor, who has been a student for 3 years and attends ballet, stage academy, vocal smash, private singing and dance has successfully auditioned for Staffordshire Youth Ballet.
Heidi will now attend monthly pre-vocational training sessions with SYB alongside her RAD ballet classes at the studio. Well done Heidi!
Pupils in Pantos!
We are super-excited to announce that two of our pupils have successfully auditioned for parts in professional pantomimes this season. 12-year-old Nancy Darlington, who attends Senior Stage Academy and Acting Through Song has won a role in Stafford Gatehouse’s Jack and The Beanstalk, while 11-year-old Maria Kelly who you’ve already ‘met’ from her ballet achievements will perform in Crewe Lyceum’s Beauty and The Beast. Break a leg girls!
