From Rooftop Studios to the High Seas: Cassidy’s Royal Caribbean Success Story
At Rooftop Studios, one of the most rewarding parts of what we do is watching our students grow from enthusiastic young performers into confident professionals — and we’re incredibly proud to share the latest success story from former Rooftop student Cassidy Kempton-Lindsay.
Cassidy has recently secured a professional dance contract with Royal Caribbean International, performing onboard Utopia of the Seas. Following a successful audition process, she will fly to Miami in early April to begin rehearsals, before setting sail around the Caribbean in May. Her contract will see her performing across a range of Royal Caribbean’s prestigious, Broadway-style shows.
Cassidy trained with us here in Stone, Staffordshire, taking part in a wide range of dance and performing arts classes, including RAD graded ballet, pointe work, performance troupe, acro, tap and singing. Like many of our students, her journey was built on years of consistent training, dedication and a real love for performing — qualities that are essential for anyone aspiring to a professional career in the performing arts.
Speaking about her achievement, Cassidy said:
“I’m absolutely over the moon to have secured this contract. It’s the result of years of training, hard work and determination, and I’m incredibly grateful to the teachers, friends and family who supported me along the way.”
